Community Guidelines

Do

• Share honest reviews based on your own experience with the product or service.
• Ask and answer questions to help fellow pet parents make better decisions.
• Use clear photos and videos that focus on the product or the animal.
• Acknowledge mistakes — update or delete reviews when circumstances change.

Don't

• Post content that is hateful, abusive, sexual, or threatens violence.
• Impersonate vendors, staff, vets or other users.
• Solicit or exchange personal information (phone, email, address) in public threads.
• Post misinformation about medication, feeding or animal care.
• Use Petzsea to promote or sell unrelated products or services.

Reviews & ratings

A genuine review is unbiased, specific and based on first-hand experience. We never pay for reviews and we reject paid-for opinions. Incentivised reviews (free product in exchange for a review) must be disclosed with the #gifted tag. Offering coins or rewards for positive reviews is a violation and may result in a permanent ban.

Animal welfare in content

Please do not share content that glorifies cruelty, neglect, or unsafe handling. Posts showing animals in distress must include an educational framing and context. Reports of suspected abuse are escalated to our welfare team.

Enforcement

• First violation: Warning and content removal.
• Repeat violation: 30-day posting suspension and loss of earned coins.
• Severe violation: Permanent account ban and reporting to authorities where laws were broken.

Appeals

Moderation isn't perfect. If you believe we got it wrong, appeal from the email notification or write to community@petzsea.com within 14 days. A senior moderator will review your appeal.
